PARAGON FARMS FILLY TOPS MARCH 1 TRAINING RACES AT REMINGTON PARK

OKLAHOMA CITY – Remington Park training races continue as March arrived today. Famous Dash To Me topping the nine races with the best 250-yard time of the session.

Owned by Paragon Farms of Conroe, Texas, Famous Dash To Me becomes their second 3-year-old filly to top a training race program at Remington Park. She joins Corona Carmelita, the fastest training race winner on Feb. 15, in representing Paragon Farms.

Trained by Trey Wood and ridden by Ricky Ramirez, Famous Dash To Me won the eighth of nine training events on Wednesday with a time of :13.291 seconds over a fast track. Famous Dash To Me, a Texas-bred daughter of One Famous Eagle from the Dash For Cash mare Dash Back To Me, ran to the finish with the benefit of an 18mph, northerly tailwind.

Wednesday’s training races were conducted under sunny skies with temperatures in the low 50s.

The Remington Park training races are streamed and available for review on the Oklahoma Quarter Horse Racing Association website HERE. The next set of training races is slated for Thursday, March 2, starting at 11am.

The 2017 American Quarter Horse Season at Remington Park will begin on Friday, March 10 and continue thru Saturday, June 3.
